You'll be responsible for shaping how brands look, feel, and communicate.
- Design and develop embedded systems from concept to production.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize firmware using C/C++.
- Design and debug electronic circuits for embedded applications.
- Bring up new hardware and perform board-level testing and validation.
- Interface with sensors, displays, actuators, and peripheral devices.
- Implement communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I²C, CAN, USB, RS-485, Ethernet, BLE, Wi-Fi, LoRa, or Cellular.
- Develop low-power embedded applications and optimize power consumption.
- Troubleshoot hardware and firmware issues using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, and debuggers.
- Work closely with mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams throughout product development.
- Prepare technical documentation including schematics, firmware documentation, and test procedures.
- Support prototype development, testing, and product certification.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Embedded C/C++.
- Experience with ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers (STM32 preferred) or similar embedded platforms.
- Solid understanding of embedded hardware design and digital electronics.
- Experience with communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I²C, CAN, and RS-485.
- Experience using IDEs and debugging tools (STM32CubeIDE, Keil, IAR, VS Code, etc.).
- Ability to read schematics and datasheets.
- Experience with Git or other version control systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)
- Experience with RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, etc.).
- PCB design using Altium Designer, KiCad, or Eagle.
- Experience with wireless technologies (BLE, Wi-Fi, LoRa, Zigbee, NB-IoT, LTE).
- Knowledge of IoT architectures, MQTT, HTTP, and cloud connectivity.
- Experience with bootloaders and OTA firmware updates.
- Familiarity with Python for scripting, testing, or automation.
- Knowledge of EMC/EMI design practices and product certification.
- Experience with Linux-based embedded systems.
